Application Essay Solutions was started by Diane Spivak to help students realize their dream of getting into the university or college of their choice. Diane holds a B.A. from McGIll and an M.A from the University of Toronto and has more than two decades experience as a writer and editor. She has worked in television production, as an advertising executive, a magazine editor and freelance writer. Diane is a fiction writer, a jury member for the Toronto Book Awards, and an active literacy volunteer in high-needs schools across the city of Toronto, where she lives with her husband and three school-aged children. Over the years, Diane has acted as a writing coach to assist numerous school and career applicants to meet their goals.
